Replacement recycling bins
The Village provides one recycling bin. If you want a second bin, it can be purchased at Village Hall for $10.
Household hazardous Waste (HHW)
The Village works with Waukesha County to provide residents a responsible solution for disposing of household hazardous waste.
Waukesha County operates four (4) year-round household hazardous waste drop-off sites for residents and four (4) special one-day collections in spring and fall. Verify that your items are acceptable waste (PDF) and make sure to have proof of residency when bringing items to any HHW site. There is no fee for this service. More information can be found on the Waukesha County website here.
Garbage or recycling was not picked
The Village of Chenequa asks that you have your items out by 7:00 am. If you had them out by that time, please call Veolia Environmental Services in Hartland at (262) 367-6040.
Burning permits
Burning permits are required for EVERY fire. The permit is obtained by calling the Village Hall and giving your name and address.
